A couple of weeks ago we got some bikes and a trailer for Carson. Dillon likes to ride in it with Carson, and Carson couldn't be happier in it. Both the boys LOVE to go for rides, now if this blasted weather would just cooperate we could go more often.

My baby is growing up so fast, I have been trying to get him to eat more solid foods lately, so I don't have to buy this ridiculously expensive baby food any more. He actually does just fine with all of it so far, now I just need to be fine with it. Here he is enjoying his lunch, strawberries and mandarin oranges.And here is Dillon showing me that he is just a messy as Carson.Dillon wanted me to take a picture of his funny face, so here it is.Then I made his show me his face of how much he loves me.... awww sweet!
Carson LOVES to play in Dillon's room. I have all sorts of toys in his room and all over the house, but he is happiest in Dillon's room. Dillon is a pretty good sport most of the time, but when he wants him to stay out, he will just close the door. Carson will sit in front of it and cry because he wants to go in. My poor little man, he just idolizes his brother.

The NASTY things little boys do

So this morning I was in my bathroom getting ready for the day while my two boys were playing around. I heard Dillon sneeze and he was asking me to get him a Kleenex. I just yelled back at him to get his own. I came out to check on them... smiles and giggles all around so I went back to my business. After a while I went to pick up Carson and I saw something on his head
In case you can't tell, that is Dillon's snot on Carson's head! That is SO DISCUSTING!!!!! I gave Carson a mini bath, and had to explain to Dillon why that is so nasty. Awww, my little gross men.

Settling

So here we are, all moved in and getting back into the swing of life. We have had a busy and fun filled past two weeks including a unpacking boxes, a field trip, more boxes to unpack, Christopher's Birthday, boxes, Mothers Day, boxes, and keeping up with Dillon & Carson.

First, the field trip was to the Clark Planetarium, it was ok I guess. Dillon actually enjoyed it much better this year, and enjoyed telling me all about what he knew.
Happy Birthday to my darling Christopher! This year was very low key, I was so caught up in the move that all we did was have his family over for dinner and cake. Hee hee, I put the candles in the cake with the 32 on it, Chris then kindly reminded me he is only 31, not 32.... oops, who's the old one now?!?
I had a great Mother's Day! I was woken up to Dillon bringing me in some roses that he was very proud of. It was so sad because by the end of the night, they were already dying. Dillon got very sad, because he wanted them to last longer... but not to worry, I got some replacement roses Tuesday night. What a lucky Mom I am! My Mom also came up to visit, and on Saturday we treated ourselves to back massages..... aaaaa, I must do that more often. Last but defiantly not least, my boys. Carson is crawling all over the place, and finding all sorts of things to get into. He is pulling himself up onto things very well, including his crib. I am so worried that he is going to fall and crack his head. Dillon is loving his new house and the neighborhood. He has already made a couple of friends, and is very excited to go play in the yard. The other day I went and registered him for Kindergarten (sniff, sniff), my little man is growing up so fast!

changes

So many new things have to report and so short of a time to do it, so here I go. First, Carson now says Mama and I LOVE it! I swear he is saying Dillon too, but not as clear a mama. Second, we are moving, yes, moving! It all happened SO fast. We have been looking around, we found this one and less than two weeks later we are moving. Tomorrow is the big day, and I am sad to report we will not have Internet (or TV!) for a week, so I will have to post pictures later. Nothing too fancy, just nice and cozy for us, just what we need. And last, but most important, Carson is FINALLY CRAWLING!!! He is so stinking cute! You should see the look on his face, he is so proud of himself and loves discovering everything he can get his hands on. I was in the kitchen the other day and the boys were right behind me playing, I turned around and they were no where in sight. I called them and they had both taken off into Dillon's bedroom to play, Dillon loved it and so did I! It is so nice to see them playing together and now I don't have to carry Carson where he needs to go. Again, no Internet for a week so I will post video later. And now I am off to pack more boxes.

10 Months... and counting

On Friday my little Carson man turned 10 months old. He has one major accomplishment to report.... he can now hold his own bottle! He is getting pretty good, he likes to pull it out of his mouth and watch it drip all over his face, shirt and carpet, but other than that he is doing well.

He is still not crawling, still not walking, still not pulling himself up onto things, but he is still rolling all over the place, still sticking everything in his mouth, and is still just about the cutest thing I have ever laid my eyes on (under one years old that is:))! I love you my Carson man!

Hoppy Easter

For Easter this year we headed into warmer climates... St. George. The kids had so much fun, my sister and her family were visiting. Playing with the cousins is always an extra bonus! We did so much, playing around Grandmas house, two Easter egg hunts, dying Easter eggs, and digging in the sand dunes.
