HaPpY ChRiStMaS!

We had a fabulous Christmas! Probably one of the best ones yet! The boys got spoiled rotten by Santa and grandparents, as well as other family and friends.  One of the best presents for all of us was we actually got snow! The kids and I miss the snow so much, so it was a great surprise for us to have a white Christmas! I don’t think I need to go into much more details, because the pictures say it all.  So without further a ‘due…….

We have been keeping busy

Here is what we have been up to in order to get ready for Christmas. We went to the Bass pro shop where they had Santa as well as a whole winter wonderland theme set up.

We told Dillon this is what he’s getting for Christmas! (In his dreams!)

We had Grandma come out for a visit, so the boys got to open there gifts a bit early :) Carson got a remote controlled car and Dillon none other than Lego’s. While she was here we also went to Frisco square where they had some bounce houses and some man-made snow you could slide down.

NO, that’s not real snow, but I’ll take even the fake

And who could forget Dillon’s class party.

Dream comes true!

Our “in-law’s” here told us about a car show on the first Saturday of the month.  We headed out and we were NOT disappointed! My boys were in HEAVEN!!! They saw all kinds of cars from Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, Camaro’s, Mustang’s, and many many more.  I know what we will be doing every first Saturday of the month!

Boy’s project

So we finally got around to getting a bunk bed (it’s only taken us 10 months, but eh, who’s counting) Dillon had fun being a big boy helping dad, and Carson had fun trying to stay out of the way. Carson now is the proud owner of a “big boy bed” and Dillon is in LOVE with his new really “big boy bed”

Happy

So I’m only a week late, but who’s noticing? Happy Thanksgiving! This was the first year EVER for both Chris and I that we have been away from family.  It was a little weird, but we were thankful that we have such great friends to invite us over to join their family.  Being away from extended family only makes me appreciate mine even more!

I Love Chris!  I love so much about him.  I love that he makes me smile. I love the friendship that we have. I love that he is ALWAYS doing everything for us and never anything for himself. I love that even after 13 years together he can still give me butterflies. I love how hard he works for us, and never complains about it. I love that he is always willing to do anything I ask him to do. I love that I say his name and I instantly smile.  I love that he is such a great father to my kids! I have no words to express how lucky and blessed I feel to have him, and I don’t think I could ask for much more.  I love him!
I love Dillon!  He is such his father’s child, and for that fact alone, I love him. I LOVE his imagination and creativity.  I love that he is such a great kid.  I love his dedication for things he passionate about. I love watching him grow. I love what a great big brother he is, and that he is setting such a great example. Simply stated; I love him!

I love my Carson man!  I love that he is ALWAYS on the go. I love the way he talks and the silly things he comes up with.  I love that he’s my buddy during the day. I love his passion for cars. I love that he’s potty trained (YEA!!). I love the random “I love you’s” I get during the day. I love that he has actually fallen asleep in my arms recently. It’s next to impossible to not love him!

It’s pretty safe to say that I’m happy! Not all day every day, but every day, I’m happy!

Dillon for president

"If I were president I would make schools shorter and make work shorter and Camaro Z28's, corvettes, mustang, Ferrari's less expensive and make Mercury cougars again"

I’m so glad his priorities are straight :)

Cowboy's stadium

A week ago we were lucky enough to have Chris’s mom and BF out for a visit.  The boys had so much fun playing with them, and it was an all around great visit! Randy is a HUGE Cowboy’s fan, so it wasn’t even an option for us to go see the Cowboy’s stadium.  I must admit that I wasn’t too excited to go, but after we were there it was absolutely AMAZING! We got to go down on the field, in the cheerleaders locker room, the Cowboys locker room, and were able to walk all around. I’m so glad we went, did the tour, and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
