Pooped!

Snug as a bug in a bed FULL of blankets and stuffed animals…… awww to have a nap every day! And the big scratch on his face was his nice skid mark from going head first over his bike earlier in the day. Poor little man.

Toys and boys

I just love when you buy a Christmas present, and it is such a success! Carson and Dillon LOVE Carson’s GEO trax train! Dillon wants one of his own, and I would love to get more attachments to it. Yea, go me!

I told Dillon he could go get a treat for him and Carson. I keep snacks within Dillon’s reach for such occasions, but I walk into the kitchen to find this….
I love it when he thinks outside the box, and even more that Carson is right there to copy him. I love them!

Tragic

Ever since I can remember, Carson has put his finger through the tag on his blanket. It sounds strange, and it is, but for whatever reason it had always comforted him. It’s really funny because when you lay him down, he says “find it” and we all know what it means. Any time the kids had a babysitter, I would always tell them to let Dillon put Carson to bed, because he will need you to find the “find it”, and Dillon knows what it is. As you can imagine, the tag has been getting worn out. This is what it looked like a couple of weeks ago. Well the other night, I was tucking him bed when I noticed if finally “broke”. He was very sad and keep telling me “find it, find it” I keep handing him the tag, but it was a non-functioning tag. My poor little man. He tells me all the time his blanket is broke, and we need to go get him a new one, what a tragedy in his little world! : (

Welcome 2012

Happy New Year! We had a very LOUD and scary (for the kids anyways) New Year. Our neighbors decided to set off firecrackers and fireworks at midnight, leading to Carson terrified and Dillon a little shaken up. Carson was shaking and didn’t want to get back in bed, it was pretty sad. He just keep saying “oh no” and “what’s that?” : ( poor little man. Dillon was a little scared at first, but after watching them for a while, he was ok to go back to bed. Carson didn’t end up getting back in his bed until 1ish. Happy New Year!
I start my New Year’s post with my boys enjoying their Christmas present, oh so fun!
