Zoo day

It was dollar day at the zoo, do you think Heather could pass up that deal…. nope!  It turned out to be a HUGE mistake to go. A billion other people had the same great idea I had and with it also being a billion degrees outside (I’m not exaggerating, really!)  it wasn’t that much fun :( We only saw about five animals before we hit the “water land” to cool off, and then headed home.  At least I can say we tried, but I learned my lesson. Maybe when it cools down a bit!

A bit of a mix up

One morning the boys were pretending to be each other so Chris told Carson to go get in his chair and Dillon in his.Surprisingly enough they both ate breakfast in each other’s spots. What a bunch of goof balls!

4th Day in July fun!

We had a great 4th! We took the kids to see a movie in the morning then headed to our neighbors house to party.  After it finally got dark, the fireworks begun.  Here in Texas, the BIG ones are legal, so it was a really good show, all around us!  The kids had lots of fun doing the sparklers, and it was just an all around great day!

Dillon really wanted to make this to take to the party, he was very proud of it, but was too busy watching TV to take a picture with it

As we were doing fireworks, the moon showed up.  This picture doesn’t do justice, it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Can you see the moon? GORGEOUS!

There “first hair cut”

For anybody that doesn’t know me, I’m super duper cheap.  I hate paying full price for things, and I’m a coupon queen!  I’m getting really sick of paying for the boy’s haircuts. It looks SO simple, especially because they only use clippers. Chris finally convinced me to buy some and let him do it.  I was very scared at first, but they actually turned out really good! Now my boys look all handsome, and I saved money. It’s a win win!

They had hair ALL over them, so we let them play in the sprinklers
