Do you want a good laugh? Then read this...

A week ago or so I had to buy a new bin for our junk! Chris was playing around with Dillon in it, throwing him in and telling him that was his new bed and he had to stay and we were going to put it in the garage, so on and so forth. Dillon was laughing around about it and just keep saying nooo, nooo, laughing at his dad. Chris then tried to put the lid on, Dillon did not like that at all, he then said “ Dad, you need to stop! Look at the lid!”
Too funny! (I thought!)

Our vacation

Warning, long posts ahead! I hope you enjoy the bazillion pictures, I have plenty more if you are interested, just too many to choose from. We had such a fun family vacation, we would love to do it again. If anybody has a magical money tree, or free vacation days off work, please let me know! :)

The beach

We spent a couple of different days at the beach. I wish the weather was warmer, but Dillon could care less. He could have spent hours there, in the water and sand! We would love to go back when the water is warm, and the sun is constantly shining.

Legoland

I would HIGHLY recommend Legoland to anyone with kids ages 4-12. It is so cute, and loads of fun. We could barely fit everything into one day, and would have loved to spend more time there! I want to go back!

Sea World

What can I say, we had so much fun at sea world. The Shamu show was a little disappointing because the trainers weren't allowed to get in and interact with them, but we did have a good time. Dillon was such a trooper and decided to try new things, like feeding the dolphins and sting rays, and he pet the starfish! Fun, fun!

Growing, growing, growing

I took the boys to their well checks today, boy do I have some big, and cute I might add, boys. Here are there stats:
Dillon 5 years Weight: 39lbs. 2oz., 50%
Height: 43.5 in., 75%
He can hear and see well. The poor little man had to have four shots to get all ready for Kindergarten!

Carson 9 months Weight: 24lbs. 4oz., 97%
Length: 30.5 in., off the charts
Head: 46.0 cm. , 60%
Carson is the size of an average 15 month old. He was lucky and got off with no shots. He is rolling all over and is getting closer every day to crawling.
I love you both very much!

Happy 5th Birthday Dillon

Happy birthday to my big boy Dillon! We surprised Dillon this year for his birthday and took him to San Diego! We had so much fun and he was so surprised and happy to be there. We hit Sea World, Legoland, and the beach.... I will be posting more of our activities in the days to come but I wanted to wish my big boy a very Happy Birthday! I love you so much Dillon, thanks for being so much more than I could ever imagine in child, and for bringing all the smiles and frustration in my world... you are the best!

Teeth, rolling and concentration (not in that particular order)

Carson is now rolling all over the place. He can roll from tummy to back, and back to tummy. He is very good at inching his way up when he is on his back, and inching his way down when he is on his tummy. Look out house, he will be crawling before I know it.

The other morning Dillon had this wonderful idea to try to take the bed off a dump truck to make a flat bed truck. I told him it could not come off but he was determined to get it off. He is so smart and resourceful, when he wants something... he will find a way to have it. He noticed that it had screws on the bottom, and got all excited, busted out the screwdriver and was working very diligently on getting the bed off. I felt so bad, he eventually did get it off but the way it was made, the wheels are sort of connected with the bed. It didn't work out in the end, but I was very proud of him for trying so hard, and succeeding!

Carson is growing teeth. He is actually pretty good, he has just been much more needy. His naps suck, but he is still sleeping through the night (thank you for that Carson!) he still has his big fat smile, but will cry at the drop of a dime. He has two that are very noticeable on the bottom, and has been working on three ( I think) on the top. Sorry love, keep them coming, you will need (and WANT) them someday!
