Trick-or-treat

We had a great time (as I'm sure all kids did) trick-or-treating. First we went to Jordan Landing, holey PACKED, then came home to fill up our belly, then in our neighborhood. I was really disappointed tho , I would have to say about only half of the houses were handing out candy.... a bunch of fuddy duddy's if you ask me. Loads of fun, loads of candy!

I'm glad he had a good time.

Perhaps the fuddy duddy neighbors were out trick ot treating.

In our neighborhood, we get HUNDREDS of kids. And most not from our neigborhood. We love to see the little ones from our neighborhood, but what is frustrating is that people we don't know from across town bus their kids in here so I can buy them candy. It was so crowded last might that it was hard to drive through the neighborhood. Cars lined both sides of the street and it was like a parade. Although we bought over $60 worth of candy to give out, we were all out by about 7:30 or 8:00.

I hope Dillon got some great loot!

Looks like they had lots-o-fun!

Expanding on Kristin's comment: As she mentioned we passed out LOTS of candy at our house. I've done a little math to come up with roughly the number of kids that came by. We had about 5 bags, some bags were of the 150 piece variety, some were of the 100 piece variety, I believe there were around 500 pieces. We were only giving one piece per trick or treater, and since I held out roughly 100 pieces for myself, we had somewhere between 400 and 500 kids come by the house. All in about an hour and a half... Good thing J'Neil was the official candy passer outer.

I know EXACTUALLY how you feel! We had cars parked up and down all the streets and kids I have never even seen before asking for candy. It makes me a little irritated myself, epically when they have NO manors, they don't even say trick-or-treat, and they have no costume on. That is why I wanted to buy some gum and gave one piece to those who I knew didn't belong, for the rest of the cute little ones... yummy chocolate!
