Our trip

Last weekend we took a little trip to Canada to visit my Grandparents. I also have some other family that lives there, so it was nice to visit with them too. It just so happened to be Canada day while we were there, so we spent the morning at a parade, and then headed back home for a BBQ and later to the park for some fun, with fireworks to follow. We also went to a little town called Waterton that I have been going to since I was a kid, so it was fun to go back with my kids! We enjoyed a little hike, dipping our toes in the freezing lake, and had a nice lunch at the park. What a great visit, and as all vacations do, it went by way too fast! ** a fair warning.... picture overlaod!!!! It's for me, not for you : ) **

All of us at the parade. The boys had a lot of fun getting candy and waiving at everybody, I was really surprised at how much fun they had!

Looks like you had a blast! I'm so glad you could go. And Canada Day is a great time to be there. Did you watch fireworks from the hill? It is good you took lots of pictures, since that will help the kids remember it better as they get older.
