Were still alive!

Hello anyone who still reads my blog.  As you may, or may have not noticed I have been a little MIA for a while, but I assure you I have a good reason.  A really good one, in fact TWO…….. well it turns out I’m pregnant! AAAAAAAA, scary right, well that’s not the scary part, it’s actually TWINS!! We found this out about a month ago, and it’s still sinking in.  I’m really scared and happy all at the same time.  Chris is just excited.  Dillon is beside himself and can’t wait to have two more siblings and Carson….. well I don’t think he quite gets it yet, but he not that into it.

I have been sick for a good month and a half and am feeling better these days.  I still have bad days, but at least I’m able to function like a human. I am due October 14th but the Dr. said he will be happy and surprised if I make it to the end of September.  Our house has just been in survival mode and my poor little blog has paid the price.  I am so surprised how much these babies are taking out of me. .  I eat ALL the time, I’m serious.  I have to eat every 2 hours or I pay the price, and I have to take it really easy.  I can’t push myself like I could with the other two  I feel and look like I’m already 6 months along when I’m only a little over 3 months.  I’m terrified for this summer with having both boys home with me all day, and it being so stinking HOT here you can’t go outside.  I can already tell I’m in for a wild ride.

I do have some things share on my blog, but I will keep you in suspense.  I will just let this sink in for a bit and hopefully you come back for the rest.  I hope I still have time to blog after the babies come, it sure is fun to have these memories!

Cars, cars and more cars

So if you haven’t figured out by now, my boys LOVE cars. We can’t get enough of them (well maybe I can, but I still go along for the ride) so to keep it up we headed to autorama. Lots of cars to see which created lots of smiles on my boy’s faces! Happy boys = happy mom :) (even if that means walking around for hours looking at the same car(s) I have already seen 100 times before)

Happy Love day!

We had a fabulous Valentines Day filled with nothing but love!First, I headed to Carson’s party at school.They had a little snack, and then delivered their Valentines to each other in the bags.Carson really didn’t get it, but I still thought it was SO cute! I then headed off to Dillon’s school to party with him.His class had a pizza party, followed by some games and dessert.I didn’t get to see him deliver his valentine’s because they had already done it earlier in the day, but it was still fun.Later that night, we headed out to dinner with the kids where I was greeted with roses.I sure feel lucky with all the love we have going on around here, and I’m even happier that it’s every day, not just on February 14th!

It was time

A very sad and happy day for me.  Carson started preschool.  Preschool’s are just SO different here, mainly so long.  In Utah, Dillon only went for two and a half hours.  That was ok, but here it’s like an all day thing.  I did my research and found one that we both love.  He goes three days a week from 9:00-2:30.  It’s SO weird having him away from me for that long, and for that many days, but it was much needed.  He LOVES it and asks to go every day. He fits right in and his teacher says he is doing great.  He has made a lot of new friends, and he loves to tell me all about them and his day when I pick him up. I’m so lonely without him, and it sure makes my days feel a lot longer, but it just makes me value my time I do have with him even more.  I love you so much my big boy! Here he is on his first day {sniff sniff}

Ho hum...

Let me see, I went grocery shopping the other day and spent $35.00, I then cleaned the house which took me a LONG time, only to have it become messy again the next day. I ran a bunch of errands. I went to the post office. I ran to the library. And in between all of that, I have done laundry, laundry, and more laundry.WHAT, this doesn’t excite you? Well frankly me either.How about pictures from the car show we went to this past weekend…. Ok then, here ya go.  ( Oh, and the bonus kid you see in some of the pictures was Dillon's friend, Asa)

Zoo Day

I love it when Dillon and Chris have the day off of school/work so to take advantage of this we decided to head out to the zoo.  We saw some animals, and then some more.  Good times, good times.

Slow

So January is always a slow month for us.  I actually really like it after all the hustle and bustle of the holidays it’s nice to have a month “off” and just chill.  So with that being said, I have no new fun and exciting things to blog about……. but I do have a LOT of fun memories to share so I figured I would go with that today.

I LOVE this picture!  Dillon was two years old and at the time we lived in St. George where snow didn’t really exist.  We were actually visiting the salt Lake valley and decided to go up to the mountains to see some snow.  This picture makes me think this would be Carson if we ever saw any real snow.  We moved here to Texas when he was two, and I doubt he really remembers snow from when he was one. I love the snow, and defiantly miss it, especially in January! Maybe we will get out and do something exciting, just for blogging about :)  Until then….. happy January y’all.
