I love it when Dillon and Chris have the day off of
school/work so to take advantage of this we decided to head out to the
zoo. We saw some animals, and then some
more. Good times, good times.

Slow
So January is always a slow month for us. I actually really like it after all the
hustle and bustle of the holidays it’s nice to have a month “off” and just
chill. So with that being said, I have
no new fun and exciting things to blog about……. but I do have a LOT of fun
memories to share so I figured I would go with that today.
I LOVE this picture!
Dillon was two years old and at the time we lived in St. George where
snow didn’t really exist. We were
actually visiting the salt Lake valley and decided to go up to the mountains to
see some snow. This picture makes me
think this would be Carson if we ever saw any real snow. We moved here to Texas when he was two, and I
doubt he really remembers snow from when he was one. I love the snow, and defiantly
miss it, especially in January! Maybe we will get out and do something exciting,
just for blogging about :) Until then…..
happy January y’all.

My sweet boys
I feel SO lucky to have such great kids that really love each
other. It was in August that Dillon came
to me telling me what he wanted to give his brother for Christmas. He wanted to make him a car book. Dillon started collecting the car magazines
and cutting out all of Carson’s favorite cars.
He then got some paper and glued all the cars to make him a book. He was so pleased with the final project, and
I was so proud of him for caring so much about Carson to give and make him such
a special gift. Dillon was also lucky enough to find Carson’s most coveted car
of all; A Boss Mustang 302. Carson was beside himself Christmas morning
to open his gift from his brother! Carson idolizes Dillon and just loves to be
with him. Carson wanted to give Dillon
his favorite car for Christmas, so he found him a Ferrari 458 Italia. Christmas between the two brothers was a
success. I love them both so much, and
am looking SO forward to many more Christmas’s just like this :)
