On the 5th of July we got our own fireworks and did them in the front yard. Dillon wasn’t too impressed with those either, but he did have a blast doing sparklers.

I love that you did sparklers. We did some at our Canada Day celebration before the fireworks and people were looking at us like they'd never seen those things. We did give a few away to kids near us that were wide eyed with amazement. Anyway, Mom and I figured sparklers are and american thing, Canadians have glow sticks (which we also had... with flowers on so they looked like leas') Well we had fun, glad you did too.
How fun. We did not do any fireworks. We waited in traffic for an hour to see 15 min of fireworks, and then sat for another hour to get home. Good times.
