I have a couple of nieces and nephews that don't really eat a whole lot, so it got me thinking. Does Dillon eat too much? Too little? Just right?!?

4th Weekend

We had a pretty low key 4th of July weekend, we had a BBQ with some old friends, did fireworks at our house, and just hung out. Dillon is a little scared of the loud fireworks, so here he is plugging his ears. Too cute, Dillon got a sucker, Carson saw the sucker and wanted it, BAD!!! He keep saying “more, more, more” over and over, throwing a little fit in between. We got home, so we decided to give him one. I have never seen him so happy... and messy. He was very happy to have his sucker, and cried when we took it away and cleaned him off.

Splash pad

A friend invited us to a splash pad earlier today. Dillon was running around just playing, being the typical Dillon. I wasn't sure if Carson would like it, but to my surprise, he quite enjoyed it! He was crawling all over the place and trying as hard as he could to get to any water that was spraying.... lots of fun to bring on the weekend!!!

Carson is such a stud, he is discovering new things every day. I love to watch him play with his toys, try to get into the cupboards that are locked, and especially play with the brother man. He is pretty good a keeping his balance when he stands up, and has taken a couple of steps. Now we are just waiting for him to get some more courage and take a lot of steps. He is growing lots and lots of teeth (I think like four right now) and is your typical one year old crawling all over the place, and putting everything he can find in his mouth. We love you so much Carson man, hope you had a great Birthday!

We had a great birthday party for Carson last Saturday... but who invited the wind anyways? We just had the fam over for a little BBQ and opened some presents. Carson scored some great presents including a new truck, train, baby swing, an all activity toy, bath toys, little cars for him and a stroller (Hee hee, thanks Jamie!) . The big present from Mom & Dad is his roller coaster, and both he and Dillon LOVE it. I must admit... I wanted to get this back for Dillon when he was a young-un but I held off. I found this on sale and I knew I must have it for Carson, hats off to me! As for the cake, he enjoyed eating it, but was very unsure about digging into it with his hands.

Finally done!!!

Last Friday was Dillon's last day of Preschool. I know, I know, very silly that he went until late June, but he is now officially ready for Kindergarten. I was a little sad to go because I have gotten to know his teachers so well and they have worked wonders with him, but it is time to move on. Kindergarten, here we come...

Happy first Birthday my love! I have so many great things to say about Carson, I don't even know where to begin. I love Carson's smile, he is such a smiley boy.... pretty much all the time. Never stop smiling baby boy, it's a good fit for you. I love that he is starting to get an interest in cars. He will find any car and make a car driving sound with the back and forth motion... so cute! I love that he says “more”. He wants food all the time, and if he sees any food, he will say, more, more, more until he gets it. I love the Carson adores his brother. Carson could watch and play with Dillon for hours, now if Dillon would only let him life would be grand. I could go on and on, but I will stop. Thank you for being such an important part in our Family Carson. You are so much fun to have around, and we love you will all our hearts..... we hope you have a great Birthday!

fun visitors

We were so happy to have my sister and family come and visit us. As always we had so much fun playing and running around like crazy. An extra special treat for all the kids was going to Lagoon.... oh what fun!
