So if you haven’t figured out by now, my boys LOVE cars. We can’t get enough of them (well maybe I can, but I still go along for the ride) so to keep it up we headed to autorama. Lots of cars to see which created lots of smiles on my boy’s faces! Happy boys = happy mom :) (even if that means walking around for hours looking at the same car(s) I have already seen 100 times before)
We had a fabulous Valentines Day filled with nothing but love!First, I headed to Carson’s party at school.They had a little snack, and then delivered their Valentines to each other in the bags.Carson really didn’t get it, but I still thought it was SO cute! I then headed off to Dillon’s school to party with him.His class had a pizza party, followed by some games and dessert.I didn’t get to see him deliver his valentine’s because they had already done it earlier in the day, but it was still fun.Later that night, we headed out to dinner with the kids where I was greeted with roses.I sure feel lucky with all the love we have going on around here, and I’m even happier that it’s every day, not just on February 14th!
A very sad and happy day for me. Carson started preschool. Preschool’s are just SO different here,
mainly so long. In Utah, Dillon only
went for two and a half hours. That was
ok, but here it’s like an all day thing.
I did my research and found one that we both love. He goes three days a week from
9:00-2:30. It’s SO weird having him away
from me for that long, and for that many days, but it was much needed. He LOVES it and asks to go every day. He fits
right in and his teacher says he is doing great. He has made a lot of new friends, and he loves to tell me all about them and his day when I pick him up. I’m so lonely without him, and it sure makes
my days feel a lot longer, but it just makes me value my time I do have with
him even more. I love you so much my big
boy! Here he is on his first day {sniff sniff}
Let me see, I went grocery shopping the other day and spent $35.00, I then cleaned the house which took me a LONG time, only to have it become messy again the next day. I ran a bunch of errands. I went to the post office. I ran to the library. And in between all of that, I have done laundry, laundry, and more laundry.WHAT, this doesn’t excite you? Well frankly me either.How about pictures from the car show we went to this past weekend…. Ok then, here ya go. ( Oh, and the bonus kid you see in some of the pictures was Dillon's friend, Asa)
