But I want to go to the truck museum

Last week Dillon had another fun field trip to the Clark Planetarium. They have been learning about space and I was telling him that we were going to go to the space museum to see the things they had been learning about. In the car on the way there Dillon announced to me that he didn’t want to go to the space museum, but he wanted to go to the truck museum. We had good time regardless, but he was searching the whole time for anything that had to do with trucks!

Oh what fun!

Dillon had SO much fun riding around in the mud! We just took him up the street by USANA and he could have rode for longer if the battery wasn’t going to die! When we got home Chris wanted to wash it off before we put it in the garage… and he was more than willing to do that as well. How much fun…. I must say I am a little jealous!

Happy Easter

We had a fun filled Easter weekend! It started out with my mom coming to visit from St. George, then on Saturday morning we headed off to a huge Easter egg hunt, where Dillon collected lots of candy! We then headed off to Wheeler Farms to see some animals and take a tractor ride. It was PACKED and the line for the tractor ride was 45 minutes long, so we promised to take him back another day. Easter morning Dillon woke up to the Easter Bunny who left him more candy (just what every kid needs right?) and some fun little toys. We headed off for an Easter breakfast and sent my mom home. Later that day Chris’s family all came over for a hunt of eggs in my house (more candy of course!). I think all the kids had fun, it sure was fun to see all of them. We finally settled down to a nice dinner and headed off to bed! It was a great weekend…. Hope you all had fun as well!

Easter fun

So we got the Easter egg coloring kit a couple of days ago and Dillon has been bugging us to do it ever since, so we decided to do it a couple of days early.

He had so much fun getting messy….. but was happy to get cleaned up.

Don’t you love his belly, I just didn’t want to ruin any of his good shirts so I found this old one, poor ghetto kid! :) Hope you all have a fun Easter weekend….. in the RAIN! :(

a mini get-a-way

So last week we took a little vacation to good old St. George. My sister and family were visiting as well so we got to spend a couple of days with her and her four kids! Dillon LOVES to play with his cousins, and had a good time seeing everybody. I just have to laugh because last week we were wearing short sleeve shirts and sandals, only to come home to the wonderful SNOW, gotta love it!

fun memories

I love Dillon for so many reasons, and I would like to remember everything I can about all the silly things he says and does, here are a couple


We were eating hamburgers one night, with seedless buns, and Dillon says to me “Hey Mom, why does this one not have white sprinkles on it?”


The other day I was lying on the bed, and he comes in with a little ball he had. He started rolling it at my belly, I was blocking it with my hand, and he got irritated with me and told me to stop because he was playing ball with his brother.


He has ALWAYS said he needs to “lawn the mow” not “mow the lawn”


He was in the bath tub the other morning and I warned him for the bazillionth time not to drink the water. He said, “Ok” then he said in such a serious voice “but are you serious?”
