New toy

As summer winds to an end, we inherited a fun new toy! Our “in-laws” were done with this fun inflatable slide and graciously offered it to us and we happily accepted! My boys have already gotten lots of fun hours on it, and I’m positive we will enjoy MANY more! Thanks Wursten's!

Dallas Arboretum

One day while my mom was still here we decided to go see the Dallas arboretum.  Other than the blasted heat, it was gorgeous!  I would love to go back in the spring.  I think of the things that made it so pretty is they were featuring Chihuly art.  Man that was pretty cool to see!  LOTS of pictures to share :) 

Stockyards

While we still had visitors, we also went to the stockyards.  It’s like the “old Dallas” had a lot of old town things with a little western feel to it.  THE thing to do it watch the “running of the bulls”.  I have to say I was really looking forward to this, but was sorely disappointed.  The bulls were walking, not running and it went by so fast I didn’t even have time to grad a picture.  Oh well, at least the company was fun!

Visitors!

This past week my sister and her family as well as my mom came to visit.  We all had SO much fun with them, we are sad they are gone! :( As I have mentioned in the past, her in-laws live here as well, so we all hung out having a great time.  One day we decided to go to the water gardens.  SO pretty! I would highly recommend it :)
