for the books

I have said this half a dozen times, and I know I will say this again more times than I can count, but I must have done something right somewhere to get my kids. Dillon is such a sweetheart and I just never wanted to forget this, so this post is mainly for me and my memory. Dillon keep telling his dad he wanted to get me a diamond necklace for Valentines Day, needless to say, I didn't get one. Yesterday we were at Sam's club and Dillon saw the jewelry case. He told me I can't look and with the sneakiest look on his face grabbed his Dad's hand to head that way. He walked around the whole thing until he found what he wanted, a diamond necklace with two diamond hearts:
Dillon: Dad, that's the one I want to get my Mom! (a smile from ear to ear!)
Chris: It is? You think she will like that one?
Dillon: Yes! I know she will, it has two hearts, one because I love her, and one because Carson loves her!
How could I help but not cry, I love you my sweet sweet boy!!!

It's amassing the things your kids observe and take note on. With that being said, Chris and I have been talking about this vacation we are going on, and Chris was saying that he was going to pack his own suitcase (HA!). Dillon made sure to put him in place and said “ Dad, you NEVER pack your own suitcase, Mom does. She takes care of all of us, and you go to work all day!” it's nice that somebody notices! :)

Luv is in the air

We had a great Valentines Day. I wanted to do a little something for the boys so Dillon's Valentines day surprise was going to the monster trucks. He wasn't too sure at first, but soon after started to enjoy it. Carson really had no idea be I still had to do something for him. As I have said, Dillon is completely in love with Carson, and really likes matching his brother. I was lucky enough to find some Sponge bob PJ's to match the ones Dillon already had. Dillon was THRILLED and Carson was just happy to have some new PJ's that fit.

I knew I had more pictures of my guys hanging out.. I just couldn't find them. (Duh! They just needed to be downloaded off the camera!) but luckily they were found, so here they are, just hanging out having fun.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Living Aquarium for Dillon's field trip. We had lots of fun looking at all the fish and learning about sea life.

As I have said before, Carson in completely in love with Dillon and is so fascinated with him. He watched every move he makes, and just stares him down. Dillon also loves Carson and I CAN NOT WAIT for Carson to get a bit more mobile (or can I?) so the boys can really play together. What a lucky mom I am!

This was so cute, Carson was studying Dillon's ear, and was pulling his hair at the same time. Dillon just sat there for a good ten minutes and let his brother poke and study him.

Here are my studs sitting in Mom & Dads bed watching TV. Dillon started laughing at the TV and in turn Carson was laughing at Dillon. Dillon thought that was funny so he started laughing at Carson, too stinking cute!
