Last year for Dillon’s Birthday he got a train cake mold from Grandpa Craig, and Grandma Kris. A friend of mine and I decided to make it. It is such a fun cake… and Dillon loves to help decorate it!
Last week, Dillon’s class (parents or guardian are required to go) went to the fire station for their monthly field trip. They had a cute little presentation and then out to see the fire trucks. Dillon had a great time!
The other morning Dillon crawled into bed with me and started to take off his pj’s. I asked him what he was doing and he told me that Daddy didn’t sleep in any so he didn’t want to either. That night, we got all ready for bed with not another word. I went into check on him before I went to bed and found that he had taken off his top and hung it on a hook above his bed, and his pants were on the floor. What a silly boy!
Dillon was so funny; he didn’t want to get his hands any ware near the inside of the pumpkin! We had to con him into getting all the guts out. I couldn’t find any cool pumpkins that I wanted to carve, so I decided to make my son happy and do a Sponge bob pumpkin. Chris did a cool tree and Dillon’s was just a simple face.
I LOVE October, the weather, the smell in the air, Halloween, and best of all, all the fun things to do this time of year! We went down to Wheeler Farms yesterday and they had so many fun activities for the kids. It was FREEZING cold, and it was our first day of snow! I didn’t get too many pictures, but we did get to go on a wagon ride (pulled by a tractor), see some baby piglets, and feed the ducks.
Dillon has been asking for what feels like forever to go fishing….. That is definitely not a mom thing to do so we I have been waiting for Chris to take him. Last weekend they finally went and Dillon had a BLAST! He caught a fish, and even held it; he had so much fun Chris took him the next day. On Sunday they caught a lot of fish, and Dillon was so proud to tell me he caught TWO on the same line. I know the boys had fun fishing, and I had fun sitting a home, ALONE, relaxing!
Chris and I were married September 7th 2000. Our greatest accomplishments are our pride and joy Dillon and Carson. Dillon was born March 14th 2005, and Carson June 16th 2009. Chris spends his day’s busy working to support our family, with School at night. My days are filled with lots of playing, keeping the peace, snuggles, keeping both my little men out of too much trouble, an endless amount of cleaning, shopping for great deals, laundry, and cooking. As busy as our lives can get, we couldn't be happier!
