Birthday party pictures & stats

We got around to having Carson’s Birthday party where he scored more presents. We got him some Lego’s and a Lightening McQueen scooter, and his aunt got him an adorable Mater pillow pet with a beach towel. We took Carson in for his 2 year old well check and all is good. I have a healthy happy and most importantly DARLING little boy…. here are his stats:
Weight: 31.0… 80%
Length: 35.5… 75%
Head: 49.2… 60%

His train cake, that he was IN LOVE with! It looks like Dillon made it, and we will just stick with that ; )

I don't know if you can really see his smile or not, but he was so happy!

Happy to have his own Lego's to play with, so he can play with Dillon

His new scooter that he wanted to rip open

And here he is in action!

Happy Father's Day

We had a very low key Father’s Day, Chris’s request of course. I made him one of his favorite dinners, and he worked on his car, nothing exciting, but just what he wanted. Because I’m a little behind on my posts, I will mix these pictures in with my Happy Father’s day post. Remember way back when I said I will share more of the St. George trip with you? Well of course you don’t….. you have a life, so long story short we went, had fun, went to Sand Hallow, the Sand Dunes, and had a great time. And now the proof I hope my darling Christopher had a great Father’s Day! I could have never known what an extraordinary Father he would be, but he has far surpassed my expectations! I love you, and I love that you love our children even more. Thank you for being such a great father, my kids sure are lucky! As to my Dad Craig, step-dad Steve, and my father-in-law Ken, I hope you all had a great and relaxing day full of things you enjoy too! Happy Father’s Day to you all.

Happy Birthday!

Happy happy birthday my baby boy!!! Today Carson turned 2, and what a great past two years it has been! It is sad how fast the little ones grow up, and Carson is no exception to the rule. He got a fun new lawn mower that blows bubbles, a bear chair, a new bike and Dillon got him a bubble blowing Thomas. We still have one more party to go, so I'm sure more is on the way! (oh so spoiled!!!) Carson is a ball full of energy and drama. Carson is saying more and more every day, learning how to get what he wants and he is always keeping me on my toes. Carson, you are such a joy to have around, we hope you had a great day, but more than anything we hope you know how much we love you!!! Happy Birthday Carson man!

Birthday party

This week, like any other week, had been a crazy one. My sister and her kids came to visit us. We have been playing every day, but do you think I would have my camera….. NO I never busted it out so I have no proof of all the fun we had. Since Carson’s Birthday is right around the corner, we decided to have a Birthday party, and for this I remembered the camera. Thanks for the visit and presents guys, we all had a great time!

A memory I never want to forget

Carson is getting SO big, he is talking so much and I can pretty much understand what he wants and needs….. and I love it! Carson was having some snacks Dillon doesn’t really like. I heard him offer one to Dillon, and he replied with a “no thank you Carson” Carson really wanted to share with his brother so he gave him the whole bowl and again Dillon replied with a “no thank you Carson”. Carson came running to me and said “come here” I followed him to the pantry. He busted it open and says to me “Snack…. Dillo…… snack”
He had led me to the pantry because he really wanted to share a snack with his brother. I thought this was so precious, so I gave him one treat for Dillon. He ran it to him, and came running back to me “two” he says. I gave him another one, and he went and sat down next to his brother to have a treat with him. Even though (on a daily basis) I get so frustrated with my boys, I am so lucky to have them. These are the moments that I cherish as a mother, and for every frustrating hour I may have, at least I have this one happy one to remember! I love you boys!!!

we are done!

This time of year always seems to be a bit crazy, and it is no different for me! We had a great three day weekend in St. George, but that will have to be for a later post. For now I must share that Dillon has graduated kindergarten!!! His last kindergarten assignment was to stand in from of the class and recite a nursery rhyme. They then handed out a couple of awards, and we were out-a there. I am SO happy to end this annoying two and a half hour interruption in my day, and am looking forward to see what first grade brings! Congrats buddy, we sure do love you!
