what a mess

I was in my bathroom getting ready when I heard, what I call, the “evil” laugh. This is a 95% full box Lucky Charms all over the floor. Dillon being the nice brother that he is gave Carson the box because he wanted more, thanks for your help Dillon!

I must brag

Since LAST Valentine’s Day, Dillon has wanted to get me a double heart necklace. He says one heart is because he loves me and one because Carson loves me. It just melts my heart hearing him say that, and even more that he has been very determined to get it for me. Last week we were at the mall and Dillon grabbed Chris’s hand and said “ok mom, go shop and we will be back in a little bit” the boys went to a couple of different jewelry stores and Dillon found exactly what he wanted. This past Sunday (the day before Valentine’s Day mind you) Chris took Dillon back out to get the necklace, only they were out. Chris said he was so upset, and the people were just trying to get him to buy anything but had a very firm no, because he had already found what he wanted. They even went to another mall, and more stores, but still no luck. On Monday night, Dillon told me to sit down and close my eyes, when I opened them he was holding a box with a HUGE smile on his face. I was SO happy to get my double heart necklace, and he was even happier to give it to me. Chris apparently had went out during the day and picked it up for him. I was even lucky enough to get flowers from Chris and Carson. I just want to let all my boys know how much I love them. I have got two of the greatest kids any mom could ask for, and a husband that has always put his family first. I was happy to receive my gifts on Monday, but I am even happier that I get to have my three men the other 364 days of the year!

These pictures make me laugh, the flash was so bright so Carson looks like this, and then we turned it off and it was too dark, oh well.

Vroom vroom

Just my cute little boys playing with Dillon’s remote controlled race track. I just think it is so sweet watching them play together, and Dillon being so willing to let Carson play with him, lucky me lucky me!

Isn’t it funny….

So I was thinking the other day how much I love my kids. I cherish every day I have with them, the everyday conversations, the giggles, watching all there developments and milestones, and just being able to be around them. But isn’t it funny that although I truly enjoy them my favorite part of the day is nap/bed time! : ) Sweet dreams my loves!
